Portrait of Anastasiia Nikitina

Product Designer with background in Information Security

Hi, I'm Anastasiia — a product designer based in Oslo with 5+ years of design behind me, most recently as Product Designer at Optio Incentives (2022 — 2025).

My information-security degree quietly shapes the work: I think in roles, permissions and rule-based interfaces — exactly the territory of equity, transactions and financial reporting.

Self-serve financial reporting for compliance-heavy teams

Customer Success used to hand-build the monthly Excel exports for every client. I led the redesign that replaces those with guided self-serve flows — across IFRS, audit, period-close and ad hoc report types — and shaped the rules engine that scales them across jurisdictions without engineering tickets.

Making employee equity make sense

Most people open an equity portal twice a year and forget how it works. I redesigned the dashboard around the two questions participants actually ask — what do I have, what should I do — and kept the team close to them with an in-product feedback loop.

Figma Make

A prompt library that turned AI from a daily experiment into a daily habit

Figma Make + Supabase. Versioned prompts across five categories — synthesis, copy review, IA pressure-tests, adversarial review, domain onboarding — so AI helps where it actually helps, not where it sounds clever.

Rebuilding the share simulator so the AI explains the numbers, not just calculates them

Coming next. Where the previous simulator returned a number, this one walks the participant through what the number means — tax, vesting and exit scenarios, in language they can carry into a conversation with HR or a partner.

top skill

I bring AI into product work without losing the craft.

The Prompt Library is the studio. The Share Simulator redesign is where it earns its keep in front of users. In between, Figma Make, Cursor and Claude Code help me synthesise research, draft regulation-aware copy and pressure-test flows — never replacing the judgment call, just making more of them possible in a week.

A note on how I work

I'm drawn to the slower problems behind clean interfaces — the rules, the edge cases, the bit of policy nobody wants to read. Good UX in finance, to me, is honest about complexity instead of hiding it. It respects people's time and helps the business make grounded decisions.
